医疗器械工程开发研究室简介

医疗器械工程中心是应社会发展和高等教育改革的要求、致力于产学研结合而建立的教学和研究平台。

    它承担了生物医学工程专业本科生、研究生《生物材料加工工艺》、《药用材料学》两门课程的专业技术和工艺实验的教学任务。旨在着力培养学生在医用、药用高分子材料制品原材料及配方、加工设备与模具、工艺过程及调控等相关方面的专业技术能力，提高学生解决实际问题的能力和就业竞争力。

工程中心实验室面积达120平方，拥有挤出机、注射成型机、混炼机、平板压力机、100立升聚合釜等医用高分子材料合成与加工设备，同时拥有电子拉力机、冲击试验机、熔融指数测定仪、硫化仪、硬度计等材料性能测试仪器。

    医疗器械工程中心在医用导管、软组织植入体等医用耗材产品方面具有雄厚的研究基础和开发能力。先后与北京双鹤药业有限公司、上海康宁医疗用品有限公司、安徽道润药业有限公司、广州威力医疗器械股份有限公司、北京大学附属第一医院、中山大学眼科中心、广州华侨医院等企业、医院开展科研合作，提供医用耗材产品技术支持。

    中心通过密切的产学研结合，积累了丰富的经验，取得了很好的经济效益和社会效益，也为中心未来的进一步发展奠定了坚实的基础。

The center is a platform for teaching and research in Industry-Academy-Research cooperation, which is required by the social development and higher education reform.

It takes on the task of training theprofessional technology and experiment skill for theundergraduates and postgraduates majoring in biomedical engineering by two courses of biomaterials processing technology and pharmaceutical materials. It is expected to teachstudents professional technics manufacturingmaterial products in raw materials of biopolymers and formulation, processing equipment and mould, processing control technology to enhance the ability of students in practical application and their employment power.

The laboratory of our center covers an area of 120 squares, with all kinds of medical polymer materials synthesis and processing equipments, such as extrusion machines, injection molding machine, mixing mill,  press machine and polymerization tank of 100 liters. Moreover, our center can provide some materials performance testing instruments, such as electronic tensile testing machine, impact testing machine, melt index measuring instrument, vulcanizing machine, hardness tester and so on.

The center holds powerfulR&D ability in medical catheters, soft tissue implants and other medical materials. We have cooperated withBeijing Double-Crane Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Shanghai Kangning medical supplies Co. Ltd., Anhui Daorun Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Guangzhou Welly medical appliance Co. Ltd., the First Affiliated Hospital of Peking University, the Ophthalmology Center of Sun Yat-sen University, OverseasChineseHospitalinGuangzhou, etc. Our centerprovidesthetechnical supports to them, and hasachieved good economic and social benefits.
