Biography

Dr Li received her Ph.D. degree in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Then she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Institute of Physics at Muenster University (Germany), where she worked on the self-organization/-assembly of small molecules into ordered surface patterns applicable for immunoassay. After that, she has been appointed as Research Scientist at Duke University (US) from 2008 to 2010, working on AFM-based single molecule force investigation of intermolecular interaction. Then she has worked as a Research Fellow in SCBE of Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) from 2012 to 2017, working on biosensing and bioimaging. She is now a full professor in Department of Biomedical Engineering, Jinan University (China). Dr. Li has the research interests in chemistry, nanomaterials, and biology to develop novel biosensing technologies for early biomedical diagnostics. She has published over 40 papers and was invited as the editorial board members of Biosensors JournalBiosensors and Bioelectronics Open Access Medicinal & Analytical Chemistry International Journal.
