马栋,暨南大学生物医学工程研究所,研究员,博士生导师


20012010年就读于中山大学(本科、博士);2012年从中山大学博士后流动站出站后入职于暨南大学生命科学技术学院;2013年获评副研究员职称;2017年获博士生导师资格;2018年获评研究员职称。现任暨南大学生物医学工程研究所所长、人工器官及材料教育部工程研究中心副主任等职。

主要研究方向为生物医用高分子。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目等多个科研项目;获广东省科学技术二等奖2项(排名第三、第七);入选2014年“广东省高等学校优秀青年教师培养计划”、2015年“广州市珠江科技新星”。近五年以通讯作者共发表SCI论文28篇;授权中国发明专利10件,其中转让2件;多次应邀在中国材料大会、抗菌科学与技术论坛等学术会议上做分会邀请报告;获得2021中国生物技术大会优秀专利奖、2022第七届中国创新挑战赛(广东广州)优秀奖等。

Dong Ma, Research Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Jinan University


1. Education and Career

From 2001 to 2010, he studied at Sun Yat-sen University (Bachelors and Ph.D.). In 2012, after completing his postdoctoral fellowship at Sun Yat-sen University, he joined the College of Life Science and Technology at Jinan University. In 2013, he was appointed Associate Researcher. In 2017, he obtained the qualification as a Ph.D. supervisor. In 2018, he was promoted to Researcher. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Jinan University and Deputy Director of the Engineering Research Center for Artificial Organs and Materials, Ministry of Education.


2. Research Focus

His main research direction is biomedical polymers. He has led multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program). He received two second-class awards of Guangdong Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award (ranked third and seventh). He was selected for the "Outstanding Young Teacher Training Program of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions" in 2014 and the "Guangzhou Pearl River Science and Technology Nova" in 2015. In the past five years, as the corresponding author, he has published 28 SCI papers. He has been granted 10 authorized Chinese invention patents, of which 2 have been transferred. He has been invited to deliver session presentations at several academic conferences, including the China Materials Conference and the Forum on Antimicrobial Science and Technology. He received the Excellent Patent Award at the 2021 China Biotechnology Conference and the Excellence Award at the 7th China Innovation Challenge (Guangzhou, Guangdong) in 2022.
